Keri Therapeutic Lotion

How does it work?

Keri therapeutic lotion is a preparation containing liquid paraffin, lanolin oil and water. The liquid paraffin and lanolin oil forms a light barrier on the surface of the skin, which helps to retain moisture in the skin by preventing evaporation of water from the surface of the skin. Keri lotion can be used as an emollient, to soothe, smooth and moisturise the skin before and after bathing to prevent the dehydrating effects of soaps on the skin. Keri lotion is therefore useful in dry, scaly skin disorders such as eczema and dermatitis and also, nappy rash. Lotions are relatively soluble in water and can easily be washed off, so it is important to apply them regularly even after the condition begins to improve.
