How does it work?
This preparation contains ispaghula husk in combination with mebeverine. Ispaghula husk is a bulk-forming laxative. When it comes into contact with water it swells and increases the volume of the gut contents. This causes the muscles in the gut to push the contents of the gut along more quickly.

Warning!
- It is important to drink plenty of fluids whilst being treated with this medicine.
Use with caution in
- No known conditions
Not to be used in
- Abnormally large or dilated large intestine (megacolon)
- Blockage of the gut (intestinal obstruction)
- Children under 12 years of age
- Compressed and hardened faeces causing a blockage of the bowel (faecal impaction)
- Inability of the muscles of the colon to contract (colonic atony)
This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Certain medicines should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
