Formaldehyde Lotion

How does it work?

This gel contains formaldehyde solution. Formaldehyde is a disinfectant which is effective against bacteria, fungi and many viruses. When applied to warts (which are caused by viruses), formaldehyde hardens the upper layer of skin, making it tough and whitish. This layer of skin, which contains the virus, will then wear away. The new skin, which grows underneath, will be healthy and free from the virus.
