How can this medicine affect other medicines?
Epoprostenol sodium may produce an increased lowering of blood pressure (hypotensive effect) when given concurrently with other medicines that dilate blood vessels (vasodilators).
Epoprostenol sodium may increase the effects of heparin and other anticoagulants. Therefore standard anticoagulant monitoring is advised when these medicines are given concurrently.
