How does it work?
Famciclovir is an antiviral medication which is used to treat certain viral infections. It acts by inhibiting the production of genetic material (DNA), which is required for reproduction and hence the survival of the virus.

To treat attacks of genital herpes and prevent recurrent attacks of genital herpes

- Decreased kidney function
Not to be used in
- Children
This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Certain medicines should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
