Health Centres - Balneum plus bath oil
How does it work?
This bath oil contains soya oil and lauromacrogols. It is added to the bath water to moisturise and relieve dry or itchy skin. Soya oil works by providing a layer of oil on the surface of the skin to prevent water evaporating from the skin surface. Lauromacrogols have the properties of local anaesthetics and soothe and relieve itchy skin.
What is it used for?
- Dry skin conditions
- Itching (pruritus)
Warning!
- Avoid contact of this medicine with the eyes.
- When using this preparation in the bath or shower take care to avoid slipping, especially when getting in or out, as this preparation may make the bath/shower more slippery than usual.
- This medicine is not to be taken by mouth.
Not to be used in
- Known sensitivity or allergy to any ingredient
This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
- There are no known harmful effects when this medicine is used by pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.
