How does it work?
This preparation contains a combination of diethylamine salicylate and salicylic acid. Diethylamine salicylate is a derivative of salicylic acid, and they both act to cause redness and heat at the area of application. This sensation of heat creates a source of distraction from the initial pain felt in the muscles or joints. They also have a direct pain relieving and anti-inflammatory effect.
What is it used for?
- Bruising
- Inflammation of fibrous tissue such as muscle (fibrositis)

Pain in mid and lower back
- Pain in the lower back and hip which travels down the back of the thigh into the leg (sciatica)
- Pain in the muscles and bones (musculoskeletal pain)

- This preparation is for external use only.
- Salicylates or salicylic acid is similar to aspirin and individuals who are allergic to aspirin may also be allergic to this product.

Not to be used in
- Broken skin or open wounds
- Children under six years of age
This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have previously experienced such an allergy.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Certain medicines should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, other medicines may be safely used in pregnancy or breastfeeding providing the benefits to the mother outweigh the risks to the unborn baby. Always inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, before using any medicine.

- This medicine may pass into breast milk, but in such small quantities that it is unlikely to harm the baby. Seek medical advice from your doctor before breastfeeding.
