I have a brown leather sofa with cream walls and a biege carpet. I always seem to stick to the same colours which are creams, browns and reds. I do fancy a change but I'm a bit wary about using different colours and whether to use wallpaper on my chimney breast. Would really appreciate your advice.
Advice from Liz:
Wallpaper does look great on a chimney breast but can also look as good on the recesses either side - without seeing a picture of the room I wouldn't be able to tell which would look better for you - but do consider either option! A darkish colour like Mulberry Burst from Dulux can work well with creams and browns. If you are nervous about trying it â buy some cushions, vases or other accessories in the different colour, that way you can still experiment without spending a fortune!
