Print this page out for easy reference
You may use up to a maximum of 100MB of space. If you exceed this you will be asked to remove excess files.
Disclaimer
Tiscali accepts no responsibility for loss of data. You will
be responsible for retaining copies of your own data
You must include an index file in your space such as index.htm or index.html. If your space does not include an index file, or you do not use it within a three month period, we may deactivate your account and remove any files.
We may remove any website you have created using the Internet Access Service if a) you have not updated your website within the previous three months, or b) you have not accessed your Tiscali email for more than six months
Limits on bandwidth
Tiscali's personal webspace service requires that sites which we consider to show excessive use, will be bandwidth
limited or suspended. Currently, sites which exceed the defined levels of bandwidth will be transparently moved onto a restricted service. What this restricted server does is to limit the amount of bandwidth you are able to use.
If a customers website exceeds 150MB download per day for more than seven days within a rolling 30-day window, the site will be moved onto the restricted service. We reserve the right to restrict any site automatically if the service exceeds 650 Mb in a 24hr period. During the period while the service is suspended the website will not be accessible for viewing on the Internet although it will be editable via ftp commands.
If your site is moved onto the restricted service, you will not be able to use more than 150mb a day until your usage is less than 120Mb/day for the last four days. You will then be removed from the restricted service, and bandwidth use will be unlimited within the restrictions outlined above. The service will email your primary email account when your site is placed on - or removed from - the restricted service.
