Symptom
When I try to view my site I get an error message 503
Solution
This error message is usually due to the restricted bandwidth rules. If your site uses too much bandwidth,
to the detriment of other users, then we will restrict the bandwidth available. Very few users actually experience this restriction, however.
The rules are as follows:
If you exceed 150Mb per day for more than seven days within a rolling 30-day window, the site will be moved onto the restricted service.
We reserve the right to restrict any site automatically if the service exceeds 650 Mb in a 24hr period.
If your site is moved onto the restricted service, you will not be able to use more than 150mb a day until your usage is less than 120Mb/day for the last four days. You will then be removed from the restricted service, and bandwidth use will be
unlimited within the restrictions outlined above.
The service will email your primary email account when your site is placed on - or removed from - the restricted service.
