Considering a new modem
If you do decide to purchase a new dialup modem, choose a modem with a Rockwell chipset. This is the same chip as the Tiscali modems and should ensure a better more stable connection.
56K V90 / Flex and V92 modems are compatible with the Tiscali dialup service.
NOTE: A 56K X2 modem indicates a USR chipset rather than a Rockwell.
