If you are facing problems connecting to Tiscali the following steps may help you get
online:
- Ensure you are using your Tiscali username and password
which you setup when registering your Tiscali account. This is the
same as your Tiscali email address. The format for entering your username
will be your_username@tiscali.co.uk and must be entered in lower case.
- The password is case
sensitive so make sure you are not
typing a capital letter when you intend to type in lower-case.
- If you have set up secret questions for your account you can retrieve your

Even if your username and password is automatically
saved from previous connections it is possible for this information to become
corrupted. Please delete anything saved and attempt to retype the correct
information. In Windows XP you may notice that the password appears as a long
series of dots which does not correspond to the length of your actual password
- this is an inbuilt security feature used to prevent others using your
computer from guessing your password and does not mean the password is
actually the length of the number of dots.
