Troubleshooting Outlook Express Error Messages

If you have a problem using Outlook Express, you are likely to get an error message which looks something like this: The key information comes at the very end of the error message normally in the form of a code or understandable message. It is this which tells you the cause of the problem and you can use our guides to fix it.

In the above example case, the code to look for is 0x800ccc0d. It was caused by the fact that, in Outlook Express settings, the SMTP server had been misspelt as stmp.

In most cases the solution for Outlook Express errors is relatively simple, however, you may need to do some more complex work on your PC.
