Flashing lights on the modem
No lights on the modem?
The modem supplied by Tiscali has 2 lights on the front . Both of these need to be Solid Green for you to use the Tiscali Broadband Connection.
PWR or USB light
The
PWR or USB light on your modem gives an indication of the modem's ability
to draw power and communicate with your computer via the USB cable plugged
into an USB port.
If the PWR or USB light is not Solid Green. Please Check the following...
- The PC is Switched On
- The USB Cable is Securely Connected at either end.
- The modem has been successfully installed (check your modem installation for Sagem / Speedtouch)
ADSL Light
The
ADSL light on your modem gives an indication of the modem's ability to
communicate with the Broadband Equipment in your local Telephone exchange.

- Is the USB light solid green? (if not see above)
- Does your telephone Work? (if not you may have a fault with your telephone line)
- Is the cable from the modem to the filter secure at each end?
