Full details of long awaited update announced plus Fallout 3 screens
The full list for the upcoming release of Fan Pack - an all-new downloadable content package for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has been announced. Scheduled for release in July via Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network, this content package will enrich and extend the original game by offering three multiplayer maps and a host of tweaks and updated gameplay settings.
Also included is a new High Stakes setting that allows players to play their favourite online modes in a new way, along with the ability to attain new ranks and A.C.E.S. Ubisoft has decided to offer this additional content for free to all Rainbow Six fans. But Until then, lets take a more detailed look on what will be on offer.
Three new MP maps are included for a brand-new Vegas 2 multiplayer experience, including two re-lit maps and the fan favourite from Rainbow Six Vegas. Calypso Casino is back by popular demand. All Rainbow Six Vegas 2 game modes are supported, including co-op terrorist hunt. Next up is Murdertown - Dark, where players can e experience this map's intense, close-quarter action underneath the cover of darkness. Finally, CQB Training - Dark, presents another night map so expect more tactical assaults as players must use their night vision to spot enemies.
In addition to new ranks that can be unlocked past the level of Elite, there's also a host of new A.C.E.S levels to shoot for. The A.C.E.S. will be extended to 100 for each of these three categories: Marksman, CQB and Assault. Each A.C.E.S. level earned contains a substantial XP reward. Points that players have already accumulated in each of the categories will be applied toward the new A.C.E.S. levels.
One of the most useful tweaks concerns Voice Chat. Hosts will be able to choose to enable voice chat between living and dead players of the same team so that when players die they can keep talking with their team-mates - which should add a new strategic twist to the gameplay. Expect a release in early July.
