75 Titles (Nearly All New) For You To Peruse, Plus Splinter Cell 3 For Xmas And PS3 Details Should Be Announced This Year
The huge list of PSP titles has found its way to the Tiscali Games department and we just had to share. The handheld has been much discussed this week at Sony's Japanese PlayStation Meeting 2004 with many new details emerging (see yesterday's news). We talked about some of the titles yesterday but seeing the list in its full effect is mind-blowing. Titles that particularly caught our eye include Tony Hawk's Underground 2, Winning Eleven 8 (the series Pro Evo is based on), and Wipeout Pure. But that's just the start - check the bottom of the page for the full list. In more new game confirmations we have news that Splinter Cell 3 will be out on Xbox and PC in time for Christmas. As previously speculated the title will be Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, but new to us is a GBA version currently in development. For those that missed the E3 news, Chaos Theory is a stunning looking game that appears to not just creep past its predecessors in terms of visuals but skips past honking a big clown's horn. More details when we get them. Meanwhile earlier the week we told you that the PS3 will be playable at the next E3, but for those that can't wait that long there's more good news. According to reports from PlayStation Meeting 2004 the machine will be unveiled to the world before the end of the year. The as yet untitled machine - aka the 'Next System' - should be announced around the fifth anniversary of the PS2 with development kits following soon after.
