Congratulations Chris! This is what he had to say:

"I set out with the aim of putting together a team that would confidently win the tournament. I recruited many players, new and old, in order to help achieve this aim. In particular, I recruited Jez, whose role it was to organise The Group for the playing of the tournament. This he did very successfully, and we were the main force in the tournament from the outset. After a rather amusing strike day (Thursday), we had 100% of the land for The Group on Friday, much of which was thanks to deals done, and kind friends swapping land to us. We rearranged the land, so that the comps that we had randomly allocated to come 1st, 2nd and 3rd, would be in position to do so. Our 1st placed company was on roughly 50% land by Saturday, in an attempt to be the highest tournament winning company to date, and by such a margin, that it could hope to hold the record for a good while.

None of it would have been possible without every member of The Group. Thanks to all those that swapped land (such as Spenny, Joe Mayo, dan_the_man, Elain, Chris C and others), or helped with bombing. Special thanks to all the players in the main companies, who have undoubtedly put in a lot of work, and whom have kindly agreed to give all the prizes to charity.
