Guitar Hero World Tour
Format: PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, PS2
Guitar Hero World Tour is the fourth instalment in the Guitar Hero videogame music series, launched on the PS2 in 2005. By pressing fret buttons on a specially designed guitar controller, players could form notes and chords to be played by strumming in time on a "strum bar", representing the strings of an electric guitar. Now, if you have the money, players can also drum along on a wireless drum kit whilst singing into a microphone – reproducing the full effect of being in a rock band! A great game for people with enough space to really rock out. A hefty price tag of approx 150 (GBP) for the full band experience means it’s one of the more expensive presents under the tree this Xmas.
