Default A Cameron judgment.

Quote:
Would I rather have some faceless bureaucrat running London who could not pull a crowd at the Tory conference? Or would I rather have a swashbuckling, charismatic, irresistible character who will, yes, occasionally put his size 10 feet in it? In the end I would rather have the latter."
so says Mr Cameron about Boris.

Does this mean that this will be the attitude of Mr. Cameron when/if he becomes our next PM.

When the faceless bureaucrats of Europe tell him to p***-off and stuff his opt-out options where the monkeys stuff their nuts, will he send in Boris (Errol Flynn) Johnson to swashbuckle for him, or someone equally charismatic (if he can find anyone else with these particular qualifications in his party.)

Of course if the ability to pull the crowds to the Tory party conference is his criteria for choosing Ministers or whatever to govern us, we look to be in for a fairly exciting time as well as a great treasure hunt to find where they buried all the doubloons, after they're voted out.

You can moan all you like, you are going to have a Tory government, their first job will be to sort out Brown's scorched earth policy.

Does this mean that they will first send in Boris with a fire-engine full of water to prepare the ground for Osborne to spread his fertiliser, of which there is no apparent shortage in the present Tory Party?

More supposition and childish remarks, when dealing with politics you demean yourself. The mark of a political bigot.

scitec, I have no intention of being drawn into one of your 'my ego is bigger than yours' exchanges, larded with peurile personal comments. I engage in banter or debate for the purpose of entertainment and for learning, I do not feel the need to have to prove myself to anyone and I certainly do not need to prove myself to myself.

Not been up long, watching Stargate Atlantis DVD's until about 2am. Thanks for the tea offer, but I need strong coffee in the morning so just going to get my second mug.

So a bit of banter is out? That is typical of political bigots.

Your loss, not mine.

I will engage in banter with anyone provided that banter does not become personally vicious.

I am party politically ambivalent which allows me to have opinions on any and all political parties.
I may on occasion slag-off people belonging to a political party but it is my opinion of the person and his/her promises and actions that I castigate.

I am only bigoted to those I consider dishonest.

I am also perfectly willing to admit when I am wrong

If my posts were "Vicious" I have no doubt, you would not see them. They would, deservedly, be edited.

Now calm down, accept the alternative political viewpoint and stop making childish excuses.

And that is exactly what Brown's insane spending and piling up of unpayable debt is. It is like the end of the first Gulf war when the Iraqis set fire to the oil wells before fleeing. A case of: "If we can’t have the oil, nobody is having it."

Labour is deliberately sabotaging our finances with all this debt so that if they lose the next General Election, the next incumbents will be powerless to put it right before the one after.

Some would call that treason.
