Default Why are people going to vote for the tories.....
Is it because they agree with tory policies?

Cutting taxes (for the rich in particular)
Slashing public expenditure with the inevitable.....increases in NHS waiting lists, reductions in all services, reductions in care for the elderly, reductions in care for the sick, the disabled etc.

Have they thought about it at all....

Are you going to vote tory?

Thing is Joe politicians never stock to their election promises....they can't

1. They have to promise things they know they can't deliver to persuade the basically self centred electorate to vote for em.

2. Things change which make those promises out of date.

Yep, thats about the size of it. Which is why its pointless taking any notice of promises, better to look in detail at the policies and thier probable outcome.

ie cameron and his u turn. And what are thier policies, so far all i have heard is a load of hot air type promises in the house of commons rants.

I'm going to vote Conservative because I like my local MP.

He's a world ahead of the previous New Labour 'babe' who spent all her time either posing for the camera or going on 'fact finding missions' to exotic places.

After spending bundles of taxpayer dosh on these missions she said she wouldn't stand again, "needed to do her own thing". E.
