...well I think he should be anyway, I've never liked his attitude and this latest outburst of his insulting decent hardworking small businesses hasn't made me change my mind at all about him, to me he represents everything that has gone wrong with this country since the 80's...

Apologies for being a pedantic bore but "You are fired" can be contracted to "You're fired".

It can't be contracted to "Your fired" because that says I own the "fired".

"Your product was great but you're useless at presentation so you're fired. Pick up your stuff and leave."

Thousands of apologies Wizard for hijacking your thread but my own sprogs have started using "your" when they mean "you're" and I can't even begin to describe how much that depresses me.

Ignore me Wizard - it's one of me foibles and certainly nothing personal.

On the share dealing bulletin boards I regularly see 'except' and 'accept' mixed up by people who are dealing thousands of pounds in stocks and shares every day. E.
