I received two emails today, purportedly from United Parcel Service. Sounds legit.
When I clicked onto the from:- U.P.S , as if you were going to reply, a totally different e-mail address came up. One I would certainly not have opened anyway. ![]() The second one was identical but addressed to rayban@tiscali. or something similar Under normal circumstances and not being raq-butch, you would be tempted to forward this to the guys who it is meant for ,,........DON'T Because that address is not who it says either. They may be just selling viagra or something but maybe not and once they have your e-mail addy you are in trouble.

received an email about this from our techies here at work yday telling us not to open it as the attachment contains a virus

Yes, it's the attachment that contains malware. Some systems don't get this as it's stripped from the mail before landing in someone's inbox.

We had this a couple of weeks ago...luckily Gyro know's all about that kinda thing and got rid of it.....thanks for sharing though

Had one sitting in the mail box when I put Outlook Express on, straight in the delete.
Main reason being I know I don't have anything coming via UPS.

Had a couple last week purporting to come from Tiscali, asking me to click on a link to confirm my billing informatiom.They looked so genuine I logged into tiscali support. They came beck to confim it was a phishing scam.
