Macdonald Leeming House, Ullswater
Once a private residence, this 200-year-old house is surrounded by 22 acres of lush gardens and woodland leading down to the shore of Ullswater in the glorious Lake District Countryside. It is, however, only a short 15-minute drive from the M6 motorway. Fourteen of the bedrooms have private balconies with views over the gardens towards the lake, whilst the Regency Restaurant, with its modern and classic menu, has an excellent reputation.

Road
Leave the M6 at Junction 40 and follow the A66 and then A592 to Ullswater and Windermere cross road. Then follow the Windermere signs until you arrive at Watermillock by Ullswater. The hotel is approximately 2 miles further on.
