Some questions to ask when viewing a venue: Comments
What is the minimum amount of guests allowed?  
What is the maximum amount of guests  
Is it reasonably near your ceremony venue if applicable?  
Are the parking facilities adequate?  
Is there accomdation here?  
If so how many bedrooms?  
Are special rates offered?  
Is a in-house wedding co-ordinator provided?  
Are there any special conditions to take into account e.g. National Trust property?  
Are children and disabled people catered for?  
What will you have to hire e.g. chairs, tables and how much do they cost?  
Are there any restrictions on what type of flowers you can use?  
Do they have licence to consume and sell alcohol?  
Until what time will the bar and venue be open until?  
Are staff included in the costs?  
When does the deposit and final payment need to be made by?  
Is smoking allowed?  
Is there a safe place for storing presents?  
Is there a room the bride can use to get changed?  
Does the venue have public liability insurance?  
What is the policy on postponement/canellation?  
Is a toastmaster included in the price?  
Is VAT included in prices quoted?  
If bringing your own caterer will he have access to everything he needs?  
Are candles allowed?  
Will you have exclusive use of the venue?  
How much is the corkage and the water - does it have to be bottled?  
Can we sample the menus before making a choice?  
Is there the opportunity to see how the venue looks dressed up for another wedding first?  
If you're having a civil wedding in the venue check that you can hold a rehersal and how long before?
