Indulgent chocolate truffles
Serves enough for 4
Ingredients:
- 200g dark chocolate
- 30g butter
- 100ml cream
- 1 vanilla pod
- 5 tablespoons cocoa powder
Method:
- Break the chocolate up into a bowl and melt over a pan of boiling water.
- Split the vanilla pod open lengthways and scrape out the seeds.
- Mix the cream and vanilla together in a pan and bring to the boil.
- Pour the mixture into the bowl of melted chocolate and mix well.
- Add the melted butter and stir in with a wooden spoon.
Leave the mixture to chill.
- Add the cocoa powder and roll the mixture in your hands to form balls. Roll each ball into a dusting of cocoa powder before serving.
