Indulgent chocolate truffles
Indulgent chocolate truffles
Serves enough for 4


Ingredients:

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 30g butter
  • 100ml cream
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 5 tablespoons cocoa powder

Method:
  1. Break the chocolate up into a bowl and melt over a pan of boiling water.
  2. Split the vanilla pod open lengthways and scrape out the seeds.
  3. Mix the cream and vanilla together in a pan and bring to the boil.
  4. Pour the mixture into the bowl of melted chocolate and mix well.
  5. Add the melted butter and stir in with a wooden spoon. Leave the mixture to chill.
  6. Add the cocoa powder and roll the mixture in your hands to form balls. Roll each ball into a dusting of cocoa powder before serving.
