Value for money: All allergy-free products are comparatively expensive and you seem to be paying for good ingredients here.

Packaging: Presented on a cardboard cake board and wrapped in cellophane-type material. It looks quite rustic.
Taste: For those with allergies or intolerances this is a great alternative to Christmas cake - although obviously it is not iced - but who worries about that when it tastes so delicious. Non allergy challenged friends and family will be vying for a slice of this moist, delicious cake. It is quite dense and filling though. Definitely the sort of thing that will appeal more to a foodie adult than a child. The packaging says it was "cooked with love and joyful abandon".

Taste: These really are mini bites, they are individually less than an inch square. This has advantages and disadvantages depending on how you look at it. Great for kids as you can give them a sweet treat without overloading them. They are like sophisticated cornflake krispies - because they do have dried fruit and hazelnuts and dark chocolate - so they feel like a treat but not too naughty a one. And depending on your will power you can limit your input because of their size - but one might not feel like enough.

Chocolate Sponge Pudding
Description: Wheat free, gluten free, dairy free, chocolate steamed pudding - only suitable for microwave cooking. (Does contain nuts and egg)
Packaging: Small plastic tub with cardboard outer as standard for these kinds of puddings.
Taste: If your allergy-challenged Christmas guest isn't a great Christmas pudding fan this individual-sized pudding might be a great alternative while everyone else tucks into Christmas pud. Chocolate pudding with a chocolate sauce who could wish for more? Whether they will have room after their Christmas dinner is another matter. Lovely glossy sauce over a reasonably light sponge. But be warned it is 433 calories.
