Bad breath came top of a poll of 5,000 single people as the thing most likely to kill off any chance of a second night out.
Wonky or yellow teeth took second place with 55 per cent of singletons admitting they couldn't bear to date someone with dodgy dentures.

Being rude to a waitress whatever the standard of service came third, voted for by 39 per cent of daters.The poll by internet market research company www.onepoll.com also revealed that displaying good manners will definitely secure a second meeting.
A whopping 60 per cent of people said there was nothing like a bit of chivalry to keep them sweet, with many appreciating gestures of courtliness over a dinner date.
Smelling nice came second in the list of top 10 deal makers - as 58 per cent of people said they appreciated a splash of perfume or aftershave.
Whilst being able to tell a funny joke impresses 47 per cent of people, who love a witty sense of humour.
Having a criminal record, being a member of a 'chavvy family' and saying everything is "wicked" all appear in the top 10 list of deal breakers.
Whilst being a good cook or kisser, having a sexy voice or showing an interest in the other person's family all appear in the top 10 deal makers.
John Sewell of www.onepoll.com said: "Just under half of the 5,000 ruthless respondents who answered this poll are unwilling to give a person a second chance if they fail to impress on a first date, which is bad news for those of us who get a bit nervous.
"And the other half say it only takes them two dates to decide firmly whether or not they like someone.
"Unfortunately for some, appearances are everything, and smelly breath and bad teeth are major turn offs."
Twelve per cent of money grabbing Brits say they have been out with someone they blatantly didn't like as a person, because they were wealthy.
A third of folk have dated someone because they felt sorry for them, and a ruthless 20 per cent of people have kindly recommended to a date that they improve their appearance.
