Celebrity Big Brother is back
After five series of watching washed-up stars and wannabes losing their minds and being at each other's throats, Channel 4 have managed to find enough celebrities crazy enough to enter the Big Brother house in 2009 for yet another series of Celebrity Big Brother. The latest batch of housemates will hit our screens on January 2, hardly giving us time to get over our New Year hangovers.
They will be aiming to emulate the likes of comedian Jack Dee, Take That star Mark Owen and Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty by becoming the next CBB winner.
Before their grand entrance, we look back at some of the most memorable moments from past shows.
Vanessa Feltz cracks up

After being given chalk for a task Vanessa started writing words all over the dining table while muttering under her breath in what appeared to be a mental breakdown and call for help. When called to the Diary Room she lost it again screaming obscenities.
Jack Dee's Great Escape

Les Dennis down in the dumps

Les appeared to be suffering from depression and rather than cheering everybody up he brought the mood in the house right down, moaning to everyone, even the house chickens and Big Brother about how miserable he was. But Les hasn't been put off reality TV, saying recently: "I don't think I'd do I'm A Celebrity, but I would never say never because things like Hell's Kitchen I think are great because you learn to do something. "We just sat on the sofa in Big Brother. Certainly when it comes to Strictly, why not?"
Jackie Stallone suffers without servants

Brigitte and Jackie resolved their differences in the house, but Jackie still annoyed many of her other housemates and was hugely entertaining for viewers. People were amazed at her inability to do simple tasks for herself such as make a cup of tea or open a bottle of wine, but she defended herself saying she was used to having servants.
George Galloway the kitty cat

The cigar smoking, arrogant Scotsman humiliated himself even further when he took his flirting with actress Rula Lenska to ridiculous levels.
George got down on all fours pretending to be a cat, while Rula fussed over him and let him pretend to lap milk from her cupped hands. The nation cringed.
Preston and Chantelle - reality love

When non-celebrity Chantelle won the show and Preston split from Camille it seemed destiny for the CBB lovers to become an item. But they got wed too soon in the public eye and their marriage fell apart almost as quickly as it began.
Jade Goody auditions for Parkinson's spot

Shortly after entering the house Jade cornered Jermaine in the sitting room and quickly rattled through all the most burning questions about Michael. She asked if his family had supported him through his child sex abuse trial and if he was traumatised by the allegations even though he was cleared; if he was bankrupt, why his skin was white and if he was addicted to plastic surgery.
Jermaine calmly fended off Jade's probing interview technique, and little more about Michael than we already knew was revealed. Jermaine sighed: "The world is ugly, certain people. It's sad."
Bullying in the BB house

With the three girls b****ing behind her back things got nasty and Shilpa began to feel she was being bullied. While drunk, Danielle made some rather inappropriate remarks about Shilpa that some viewers interpreted as racist. Then Jade and Shilpa had a heated row over a chicken and viewers' complaints rocketed. Jade left in disgrace and Shilpa went on to win the show.
