Give a woman with curves any day. The women on these catwalks look ill! I've also heard that they all smell of vomit as they get rid of their dinners to keep their weight down.

The whole size zero debate has a historical context. Consider this - the camera adds 10 lbs. Catwalk and photographic models are stick thin because if they weren't the added 10lbs would make them look 'unattractive' according to the precepts of what is a saleable image. It doesn't excuse the use of size zero models - I just hope it explains why they are used.

I know there is this whole size zero debate going on - but what I really don't understand is why the designers aren't clever enough to create clothes that look fabulous on real women who are real sizes. If they exhibited their clothes on more normal types women would feel reassured that they too would look good in the clothes because you don't have to be stick thin to wear them, and buy them, the designers would make more profits and everyone would be happy.
