Big Brother 9 - Stuart's best bits

Stuart evicted
Single ladies across the nation are mourning - house hunk Stuart has been evicted.

In week three, Stuart became the 17th housemate to walk through the doors, replacing bully Alex who was ejected for threatening behaviour.

With his long eyelashes and bulging biceps, the ladies immediately took a liking to the personal trainer.

But womaniser Dale, then infatuated with pretty Jen, was far from impressed with the entrant - his jaw dropped when he saw his new competition.

The P.E. teacher was convinced Stu had been put in the house to steal Jen away from him, as the pair had so much in common - like the fact they are single parents and both like Michael Jackson.

But Dale needn't have worried much - as another housemate had her eye on Mr Muscle.

Sylvia quickly gained a reputation for herself as the house bunny boiler after she jumped into the bath and later under the covers with Stu - on his very first night in the house.

She subsequently admitted to having a crush on him, but he was forced to let her down gently after two days of irrational bunny boiling behaviour.

But Stu went from one romantic conundrum to another - after he got roped into a love triangle with Dale and Jen.

Dale confided in Darnell he thought his rival had finally won the battle for Jen, admitting: "Mate, who's she been with all day? It's obvious I'm getting dumped on national TV."

And Stuart tried his utmost to butter up Jen, telling her not to give up on love as her "knight in shining armor" was just around the corner.

"You should never give up on love," he said. "No matter what you've been through. I know my soulmate is out there and I'm gonna marry her and it'll be perfect."

But in week four, Geordie Jen received 89.7 per cent of the public vote in her eviction battle with Rex - leaving Stu and Dale with only one another.

The unlikely duo grew closer in Jen's absence - and even became work-out buddies, grunting and groaning as they worked up a sweat doing crunches together.

And Stu's top physical condition was just what the house needed - as he helped the group win their more physical tasks.

In the zoo task, Stuart and bodybuilder Lisa dressed in flamingo costumes and balanced on one leg for twenty minutes straight, winning the house a luxury shopping budget.

And in the Viva La France task, Stuart helped Lisa, Belinda, Mikey, Bex and Sara pedal more than 323 miles (520 kilometres) on a pair of stationary bi

cycles. His determination in tasks paid off again in week eight, when the house was put to a chili pepper challenge.

They were dared to eat a variety of peppers in five minutes - and they could only have a sip of milk after the hot-headed contestants finished the challenge.

Stuart secured his role as Head of House and a position in heaven after eating the most spicy veggies.

But just three days later he was stripped of his title and put up for eviction after the group was caught discussing nominations in code.

Despite surviving the eviction, he was put up against Dale in Week Nine. The pair tried to prove there is no such thing as bad luck, as they completed an assault course breaking as many common superstitions as possible. They ran under ladders, spilled salt, broke mirrors and walked over pavement cracks - all while wearing a pair of skimpy black Speedos.

And after Dale was given the boot, with 63 per cent of the public vote, Big Brother declared the duo had proven that superstitions were "nothing more than mumbo jumbo".

But Stu certainly appeared to have been followed by bad luck. He proceeded to get in his first argument this summer, bickering with Darnell after Rex had called certain housemates "cliquey".

Darnell said they would be "crazy" to isolate themselves from the main group - because all of the smaller groups have been evicted.

Stu asked him, "Why are you making an issue?" before the pair proceeded to drag Rex into their fiery row.

And he cast a cloud of gloom over the house when he said he would be "too busy" to maintain friendship with the housemates when the show ends.

"I guarantee that within six months or a year friendships will fade," he told them.

He momentarily perked up when he was given the opportunity to show off his athletic prowess in Big Brother's Olympic Games, and grinned after he was given a chocolate gold medal for his efforts.

But Mr Moan then reverted back to his moping ways, complaining to the others he was homesick and breaking down into tears while looking at a photo of his young daughter Mia.

We're sure she will be the only girl for Stu now he is out of the house.
