France play hosts to the 2007 Rugby World cup with England struggling to find the form that made them World champions 4 years ago. New Zealand are expected to end that 20-year wait in France, but face stiff opposition from Australia, South Africa and of course, the hosts France. Once again English commentators display complete inability to remember that they are part of what should be an objective assessment. Is ITV a UK network? It's really a pity that they can't go through a whole match without the inevitable reference to the English team. I wish the English team success, but I realy think the commentators need some additional training!

I have been disappointed with the ITV coverage of the World Cup. Do they not realise that not everyone has digital coverage and so could not view those games on ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 etc. I have not been impressed with the commentary either. During one England game, Stuart Barnes and Miles Harrison were too busy putting down the efforts of the England team, they completely missed them winning a scrum against the head ( a rare event in any Rugby match). Now England are back on track, will they still look for the negative all the time. Eddie Butler and Brian Moore.......where are you when we need you!
