Pedro 'Mantorras' Manuel is a hot prospect in Angolan football and has even been compared to Portugal legend Eusebio.
He was signed by Benfica from FC Alverca in 2001 after he had impressed them by leading his country to the Under-20 African Nations Cup title.
Mantorras was then voted the Young African Player of the Year before a career-threatening knee injury forced him out of any regular football until January 2005.
He exploded back onto the scene with five goals late on to help Benfica win the Portuguese Superliga.
The young prodigy then made his return to the 'Palancas Negras' (Black Antelopes) for their World Cup qualifier against Algeria in June 2005.
He has become the most popular Angolan player of recent years and has continued to impress this season, attracting plenty of media attention.
Charitable off the pitch, giving some of his new-found wealth back to his homeland, he gives his opponents nothing - his speed, strength and finishing making him a deadly prospect to defend against.
Described as the best player to come out of Portuguese Africa since Eusebio left Mozambique, the legend himself said of Mantorras: "He has special qualities and is set for a great future."
