We'll give you a glimpse into the coming week's stories, but fear not, we won't spoil the plot for you.

It was all getting too much for Viv as she even started having nightmares about the elusive Freddie, who had run off with all her charity money. Going on a hunch she started knocking on doors and handing out wanted posters - but to no avail. To make things worse she assaulted an innocent bystander who she mistook for the man she was looking for. Luckily for her, Bob managed to talk him out of pressing charges, but was left troubled by his wife's state of mind. Turning to Donna for help, he asked if there was any way she could use her position as a police officer to help find Freddie - despite her reluctance to compromise her job. Meanwhile, it was revealed that Grayson had helped supposedly estranged wife Perdy to move into better accommodation and was going to talk to Katie about letting his ex have joint custody of their son when he is born.

EASTENDERS

12/05/08

Peggy played matchmaker for Roxy by fishing Jamie's number out of the bin and arranging a date, but her niece got more than she bargained for when it turned her new love interest came complete with a son and an ex-wife. However, Roxy can't complain about other people having baggage - she took a pregnancy test following another fainting fit and discovered she's expecting a child. But who's the daddy, psycho Sean or cheating Jack? No wonder she doesn't want to tell Ronnie she's in the family way. Dawn was also keen to play at being Cilla Black for the day and tried to fix up Shabnam with Mickey, but her mate's less than enthusiastic response suggested romance wasn't on the cards, and their friendship may well be over too. Lucy went back to school, but it seemed it was Ian who was having trouble adjusting after all that happened. Meanwhile, Pat, Heather and Minty all returned to the Square, and Bianca let Ricky know exactly where he stood.

CORONATION STREET

12/05/08

It looked like Maria and Liam had resolved their differences at the funeral, but when Maria asked if they had a future, Liam's hesitance spoke volumes. He confessed he did have feelings for Carla, so Maria went off to stay with Fiz. Liam went round to Carla's to vent his anger, but after saying his piece and storming out, it wasn't long before he was back in her arms - and her bed. Meanwhile, Audrey welcomed new temp stylist Natasha and Gail hurried over asking for an urgent hair appointment as Ted was coming to visit. However, things were made more complicated when Tina turned up to stay and then Ted revealed he was gay. After Gail came to terms with the bombshell, both she and Tina revelled in the moment as a stunned Audrey was let in on the secret. Elsewhere, Becky and Jason had a row, following his refusal to go clubbing; Leanne got a job at the Rovers and Fiz was wound up by Julie.

NEIGHBOURS

13/05/08

Rosie spent her umpteenth day slumped on the sofa with Frazer trying to persuade her she does have a maternal instinct. This time, it was all very serious, with her telling him there might not be a future for their relationship because she didn't want children. Carmella tried to get Frazer to open up about Rosie's problem, but he was evasive. Instead, he came up with a drastic plan: to become the sole parent of his and Rosie's child. Rosie also had a go at Rebecca for pursuing the class action campaign against the party organisers, but when her secretary fought back, Rosie decided to go for it after all. They began drumming up support from the neighbours, and Didge agreed, merely because any compensation payout could help pay her family's mortgage. However, she began to realise there was a bigger issue at stake which made her all the more determined to take part. Despite promising not to mention the subject again, Mia nagged at Marco about his relationship with Marissa and begged him to tell Carmella the truth.

HOME AND AWAY

13/05/08

Tears were shed by the bucket load as Sally (finally) said goodbye to Summer Bay. In spite of the theft of all her furniture (by nasty Noel, Ric discovered), she still managed to shake the sand of her beloved home town out of her toes. But it was touch and go. One small pep talk from Patronising Pippa (hopefully we've seen the last of her) had the former head teacher wavering, but Miles stepped into the breach and reassured his twin she was, in the words of Jodie Foster in Contact: "okay to go". There was just one more person for Sally to drip eye make-up on: Alf. They met on the beach, and after a lovely hug, the gruff pensioner asked her to call him by his given name, just once. "You'll always be Mr Stewart to me, Alf" she replied, prompting us to bawl uncontrollably. At least she wasn't the only misery guts. Jack was devastated at Sam's betrayal, but she stuck the knife in again by telling his boss about every indiscretion - including his saving of Martha's skin.

HOLLYOAKS

13/05/08

Aww, poor Max watched his hopes of a life less ordinary with Steph go up in smoke. Mind you, the pair were fools as they preferred to save their faces and keep their real feelings under wraps. Even as Steph gathered up her belongings and walked out, Max was unable to open his gob. Maybe seeing the object of his affections wrapped in Niall's arms would spur the lovelorn chap into action? Er, maybe not. Meanwhile, Louise got into a spot of bother behind bars, prompting Warren to turn to Darren in a bid to persuade him to be their stool pigeon. Thankfully, even he wasn't that desperate, until he had to listen to Jack wailing and moaning. Over at Zak's, the latter was bestriding the world like Mr Smug after his night of passion with Sam. That was, until he stumbled across a snippet of information that left her perfect image somewhat tarnished in his eyes. Could Kris keep his mouth shut in the face of such provocation? Could he heck as likeĀ…
