Fry honoured for lifetime comedy achievement

Funnyman STEPHEN FRY has been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement award at the British Comedy Awards.

The star was awarded the gong at a ceremony in London on Wednesday (05Dec07), with Shaun Of The Dead writer/actor Simon Pegg and The Simpsons Movie also picking up prizes at the bash.

BBC3 series Gavin + Stacey was the big winner of the evening, claiming three awards.
