LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Director Guy Ritchie is returning to the genre in which he made his name, signing on to make a caper movie titled "RocknRolla."
The low-project project, which Ritchie wrote, is in the same vein as his ensemble gangster flicks "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch." Casting is under way, with a summer shoot being eyed.
Ritchie, the husband of Madonna, was most recently in theatres with 2005’s "Revolver," starring Jason Statham, Andre Benjamin and Ray Liotta.
