28/06/2006 01:44

LONDON (Reuters) - Road-racing movie "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" clung to top spot in the box office chart over the weekend, holding off a strong challenge from Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock.

Tokyo Drift grossed 1.02 million pounds over its second weekend at the top, compared to 761,465 for newcomer "The Lake House," a romantic mystery which brings Reeves and Bullock together for the first time since their 1994 action hit "Speed."

Third, according to Screen International figures, was a resurgent "Da Vinci Code," back up from fifth.

"X-Men: The Last Stand" was fourth, ahead of director Ken Loach’s Irish historical movie "The Wind that Shakes the Barley", making its debut at five.
