A teenage rebel, Bill Nighy drifted into acting, serving an extraordinary apprenticeship in the artistic turmoil of 1970s Liverpool. Achieving great success at the National Theatre in the 1980s, he went on to massive success on TV and in the movies, becoming known worldwide for his efforts as Davey Jones in the Pirates Of The Caribbean series.
