One of the strangest (strange because he's so moralistic) actors of his or any other generation, Jon Voight hit big in the naughty Sixties, again in the late Seventies, once more in the mid-Eighties, and then came on strong once more as the 90s passed into the 2000s. He had to keep coming back because, refusing to involve himself in projects that didn't interest him or do some good for Mankind, he kept going away.
