Biography: All about Ed

It's hard to believe that Ed Harris was a schoolboy jock. After all, the man spent 15 years in the cinema wilderness because he couldn't help making even the toughest characters seem sensitive and conflicted. 15 years when everyone liked him but no one remembered him. But such talent couldn't go unrewarded forever and, after such stirring efforts as The Right Stuff, Glengarry Glen Ross and State Of Grace, Harris found himself in demand and Oscar-nominated several times over. Quite rightly so - even in mediocre films, he's excellent, as the list below proves without doubt.
