Awards

The Winners for the 2007 Orange British Academy Film Awards have been announced and it proved to be a night of surprises...

This year was as open a contest as many can remember with strong contenders in all categories. And so it was no surprise to see the awards being spread amongst all the top films. Atonement was the big favourite before the event but that had to be content with just a Production Design award and as well as the much-coveted Best Film from their 11 nominations. The only non-surprise of the evening was the BAFTA for Daniel Day-Lewis for his stunning role in There Will Be Blood.
