We spoke to quite a few very excited people at the latest Tiscali showcase on 6 December, but what did you make of McFly and Simon Webbe's performances?
Was the event as good as you expected and what did you think about our new venue, the ULU on Malet street, London?
Gabriella, Olivia, Kirsty, Jade and Gemma
The girls are all big McFly fans, but also enjoyed Simon's performance. They've seen McFly live before, but thought this was the best yet. They've never been to Tiscali showcase before, but hinted that we may see them again soon.
Katie and Sam
Katie has seen McFly loads of times and says she's a huge fan. Sam thinks the band are special because they're lyrically good and never give a boring show. Katie also added that the boys are doing it of for fun and not for the money. A big thumbs up for McFly!
Sarah and Zena
Sarah and Zena really like Simon Webbe's album as there is some great chill out music on it, but they were especially looking forward to seeing McFly. "They're a really fun band to dance to and we've seen them loads of times. The venue is great as well, much better than my own student union bar", stated Zena.
Tamar and Max
Max has never heard any of McFly's songs before and is only here because of Tamar. He did like Simon Webbe though as he's such 'a good looking boy'. Tamar loved Simon's backing singers and was really looking forward to seeing McFly on stage, mainly because 'they're great at what they do' and 'they're great to look at'!
Matthew and Rob
We think that McFly are totally awesome and really good live. The venue is also pretty damn good as it's small and intimate. Matthew and Rob would love to come to another Tiscali showcase and we're looking forward to seeing them again in the near future.
Amy, Emma and Dani
While the girls thought Simon Webbe was fantastic, they admitted that they were really here to see McFly. "They're drop dead gorgeous and play fantastic music. They're also really down to earth and we simply love them"! The girls thought the venue was small, but still had a great atmosphere.
Peter, Harriette and friends
Harriette is a student midwife from Bournemouth University and has been to previous Tiscali showcase events. While not being such big fans of 'blue', the gang were all impressed by Simon Webbe's performance this evening. "He's got a great face", was just one of many nice comments. "What's with the hats?", well apparently they're a way of life for these guys!
Becky and Joanne
The girls really enjoyed the show especially as they love both Simon Webbe and McFly. Although this was their first Tiscali showcase event, they would love to come again.
