Were you part of the fantastic turnout for 'Just Jack', 'Palladium' and 'Captain' at the latest Tiscali showcase on 25 January?.
Did Just Jack blow you away, was the venue as good as expected and most importantly, were the drinks too expensive?
Romily and Dave
Romily, the sister of the Pianist in Palladium is obviously a huge fan of the band while Dave is one of their housemates. Dave expressed the fact that 'the group work really hard and are going to go all the way as there's a niche in the market for happy bands'. Romily was keen to promote their next gig, which is at the Camden Rock Cafe on Thursday 1 February. Tickets are available on the door.
Donovan
All the way from South Wales, Donovan was here to see Palladium. 'The great thing about the band is that they're not copying anything in charts'. Having known some members of the band for over 10 years, Donovan was keen to let us know they weren't just going to be big, they were going to be 'very very big'!
Steve
Steve, from Clapham, was happy to back at a student bar, reliving those happy memories from uni. Steve told us that the great thing about Just Jack was that 'he played good fun music and were nice to be around'. He also said that 'you don't have to think too hard with Just Jack's music and it just makes you feel good'.
Lauren
Lauren, from Muswell Hill, really liked Captain, especially the third song they played. Lauren joked that 'the venue really brings out the student in me, except the cocktail bar which is far too expensive'!
Jacko
Jacko was here to see 'Just Jack', having heard his music on the radio and now wanting to experience him at a live venue. Jacko couldn't talk to us for too as he was biting at the bit to get back before Just Jack came on stage. Jacko had been to previous Tiscali showcases and no doubt we;ll see him again soon.
