10.Broken laser pointer
Actually the very first item sold on eBay. A broken laser pointer for $14.83. The seller contacted the winning bidder and asked if he understood that the laser pointer was broken. In his responding email, the buyer explained: "I'm a collector of broken laser pointers."

9.Become invisible kit
For only $24.95, you can walk around without anyone seeing you. Lots of great feedback, but it's a book on 'out of body' experiences.

8.Original Shetland baked roll
Fresh when baked, but no guarantee that the freshness will last, especially if delayed in the post.

7.$2,000 damaged dollars
For just £32, you could be the pround owner of a nice big wad of US dollars.

6.James Blunt's sister
She actually needed to get to a funeral in Ireland so he put her on ebay as a damsal in distress. Some army guy who flies helicopters bailed her out.

5.Bellybutton fluff
There's obviously a niche market for the more discerning collector of such articles.

4.A real life captured UFO
It fell from the sky and landed on my head, but the image looks more like a pancake tossed out of a third floor window.

3.Ghost of the Pope
You are bidding for the negative of a picture taken in the Vatican that clearly shows an image of the Pope.

2.Monitor pixel
I have 3,310,720 monitor pixels to sell. It's like naming a star as you don't actually receive it in the post.

1.Invisible suit - Free P&P
Laid out of a glass table and totally see through. It never needs washing either!
