Five's pre-school arm Milkshake! will screen 52 new 10-minute episodes every morning at 7.20, starting on April 20.
This year marks Noddy's 60th birthday and the programme makers said they wanted the new series, Noddy in Toyland, to return to Enid Blyton's original vision of a place where toys had come to life, and although they are computer-animated, every character, set and prop is designed to look like actual toys.
The cheery chappie with the jingly hat gets to explore some of the lesser known outlying areas of Toy Town, and gets to have a few adventures down by the harbour and in the Enchanted Forest.
