Just moved house and transfered my BT phone and Broadband to my new address. Now BT want to charge me £250 for my old broadband at my old house for breaking the contract! Surely that can't be right? Very angry and annoyed!

BT tried taking out £499 out of my account in one go even though (a) it exceeded the total bill and (b) i've been paying monthly by direct debit since getting the phone line GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR then when i phoned and cancelled the direct debit with them (because they had already cost me £60 at the bank for the £499 fiasco) they had the nerve to charge me for the pleasure bad enough i'm going to have to pay to pay my phone bill from now on
