The truth is out there

I recently posted in this forum information regarding the Cardiff Police helicopter UFO incident June 08. I want to report that my statement was inaccurate due to the fact what the tabloids had written.
I have since contacted and was contacted by the appropriate authorities to pass on the true account of the June 08 incident, please find below the exact copy, thank you.

“South Wales Police can confirm the South & East Wales Air Support Unit sighted an unusual aircraft. This was reported to the relevant authorities for their investigation. In today’s skies, there are a wide variety of aircrafts which come in a range of different shapes and sizes and in all probability, this sighting has just confirmed that one of these was in the area at the relevant time."
Extra information:

**It was not a flying saucer and has not been described as so.

**the helicopter did not chase it.

**the police helicopter was not attacked.

**The unusual aircraft did not speed straight at the helicopter.

** The helicopter did not have to swerve sharply to avoid being hit and the crew would not have been "dead" as stated in The Sun.

**The helicopter did not follow it, or chase it, across the Bristol Channel and the North Devon coast.

**we haven't confirmed any of the details in The Sun story and a lot of the details are inaccurate.

**The South & East Wales Air Support Unit is a facility shared between South Wales Police and Gwent Police.

I'm not given to hysteria or jumping to conclusions
I have a good working knowledge of military aircraft etc
so I know what I saw.

a couple of yrs ago about 5 of us were in my lounge when a large blue light hovered about 100ft up over the village then took off faster than any plane or helicopter could from a standstill there are billions of potential life supporting planets out there WE ARE NOT ALONE!!!!!

Well Ben, for what it's worth I spent 18 years in the Navy as a Weapons man and I know the difference between aircraft and target balloons, cloud etc. - I have seen many, MANY satellites in the night sky as I live in Northumberland and well away from light pollution. One evening about a year ago I was walking my dog along the cliffs just outside Spittal heading south and I saw EXACTLY the same type of 'star' (satellite I thought) as you. I stopped to watch it and suddenly it took off, straight up, there was no pause at all. This wasn't a close object because initially it behaved just like all the other satellites I have seen over the years. You aren't a nutter - unless we both are....

I saw in a news paper the gooverment are going to give us the truth in 2015 about what they are .
