Steve Jones - Biography

Rate: Well, well, well. What can we say about Steve Jones, eh? He pretty much appeared from nowhere to be the man who women adore and fellow men want to secretly high-five. And he's certainly no stranger to the tabloids, either - his 'exploits' make for jealous reading on a rainy day...

Steve was picked up as a model when he was young, shooting for Esquire magazine. But his first real break came when he presented a show called The Pop Factory Awards on Welsh television. This was followed up by somewhat of a cult show called 99 Things To Do Before You Die where, amongst other things, he created a plaster cast of his penis. But we never did see where it went... eBay anyone?

Seizing on the fact that he is A) good looking and B) good looking, Channel 4 snapped him up to become a new presenter on our weekend hangover-TV strand, T4. He's been on there for a few years now, showing no signs of moving on - in fact we're pretty sure he called it the best job in the world, and who can blame him?

Gossip magazines up and down the land rejoiced when they realised that Steve was a hit with the ladies - especially celebrity ladies. Don't get too jealous, guys, but Steve's been linked with (and we mean that very loosely) Fearne Cotton (were they dating? Were they not?), model Liz Fuller, Halle Berry (he interviewed her for T4 and she seemed to take a shine), Paris Hilton, Natalie Imbruglia and Mariah Carey. But one of our favourite tales is of his so-called fling with Pamela Anderson which the tabloids absolutely loved.

Apparently Steve's considering more acting roles but, lets be honest, all we want to do is drool over him while we lie-in every weekend. Right?

Steve has recently made the jump to Saturday night presenting on the BBC, fronting 'Let's Dance For Comic Relief'. The lad did a grand job and we're very proud but, with around 7 million viewers tuning in each week the show was on, it looks like we've got even more new competition for Steve's affections. Grrr.

June Sarpong, Steve's old T4 co-host, has called him a "serial snogger".
