Megan Fox - Biography

Rate: Although you might not know it, Megan Fox is actually a pretty big deal at the moment. And we're not just talking about her popularity amongst teenage lads, either.

Her first on-screen role was in a straight to DVD release, Holiday in the Sun. Although not a major hit, she started catching the attention of most casting agents and landed a role in sitcom Two and a Half Men.

These roles weren't exactly big ones, but Megan decided to try out for the lead female in Transformers. She bagged the part and the film was released in 2007 and she was nominated at the MTV Movie Awards in the Breakthrough Performance category.

Obviously aware that the Transformers franchise is worth big bucks, she signed up for 2009's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and probably the next one, too. Who wouldn't?

It's not all about Transformers, though. Megan is set to star in forthcoming films Jonah Hex and The Crossing.

If you're a fan of women with tattoos then you're going to love Megan. She's currently sporting 8 in total, including a quote from Shakespeare's King Lear.

In terms of love life, we're sure Megan hasn't any shortage of offers. She's been linked to actor Brian Austin Green as well as her Transformers co-star, Shia LaBeouf.

Apparently Megan turned down the opportunity to take over from Angelina in the Tomb Raider series, playing Lara Croft.
