Kirsty Gallagher - Biography

Rate: Kirsty seems nice, doesn't she? Daughter of former Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher, Kirsty seems have sport and fitness running through her veins. But she actually started out studying at the London College of Fashion before moving across to work as an assistant at Sky Sports.

Your Dad/older Brother/Uncle probably saw Kirsty on the TV before you did because from our experience they're often glued to Sky Sports News where Kirsty first got her break presenting bulletins. It was from this experience that she built a pretty impressive presenting career, moving to shows like 90 Minutes, Soccer AM and a lovely-sounding show on BBC Radio 5Live called Kirsty & Phil.

But sport can probably get a bit dull after a while. So Kirsty went in search of new presenting jobs, landing the brilliantly cheap Kirsty's Home Videos on Sky 1 (which wasn't as dirty as it sounds). She then got a gig on RI:SE, Channel 4's failed replacement for The Big Breakfast.

If you're a fan of Ant & Dec you'll know that Kirsty has a regular role as the judge on their 'Ant VS Dec' feature on Saturday Night Takeaway where she keeps things in order, gives out the points and offers male viewers something nice to look at.

It probably didn't pass over your head that Kirsty is an attractive girl. She's been seen on the cover of Maxim magazine as well as a regular position in FHM's annual 'Sexiest Women' poll.

vKirsty took part in Channel 4's The Games back in 2005, ultimately winning the gold medal. So after such great exposure for her physique and sporting prowess what do you think she did next? No, not sit at home and order a pizza - she released her very own fitness video called 'Body Sculpt with Kirsty Gallacher'.

Kirsty was the presenter on the relaunched 'Gladiators' on Sky 1. She obviously doesn't like people in tight lycra, opting to quit before the second series.
