Kerry Katona - Biography

Rate: Where do we start with 'poor old' Kerry? She started out in the pop group Atomic Kitten. Remember them? They weren't exactly Girls Aloud but managed to rack up a couple of insignificant hits along their rocky career. Kerry quit the band when she became preggers in 2001.

Like a true tabloid romance, Kerry met Brian McFadden when their respective groups (Atomic Kitten and Westlife) met. True love was sealed and they married in 2002. However, as you all know, things didn't exactly work out - despite having two daughters, they separated in 2004.

Kerry managed to keep her face in the public eye by appearing on ITV's 'I'm a Celebrity' in 2004 which, believe it or not, she actually won. It seemed the public actually liked the woman. But not for long. She carried on this TV 'career' mainly on MTV with reality shows such as the wonderful (!) 'Crazy in Love'.

Kerry's next relationship - and marriage - was to childhood sweetheart Mark Croft, who she married in 2007. She gave birth to their daughter shortly afterwards.

Kerry is the face of the Iceland TV adverts.

Her public image isn't exactly what we'd call strong, what with the numerous tabloid stories about her drug use, smoking, bankruptcy... you name it, they've reported it.

So it seems the Kerry Show will trundle on, through the downs and the downs, until it eventually ends. We just wish it would happen sooner rather than later - there is real news out there, you know.
